Hi there i am looking to build a wooded boat for the first time, to teach myself to sail. Boat needs to be car topable, yet big enough to carry my 280lb bulk with some free board left! ... oh ... and cheap!
I have been scouring the free plans on the web and many of the plans (circa 1940) look quite difficult to say the least. 
Any advice would be welcomed.

I have tried a million shoes and different orthotics. The best shoe I have found is a casual dress shoe made
by Dexter. It has a removable padded insert if you want to put your own orthotic in it. You can by them at [J.C.]

| Sorry for the delayed responce. I found my self in the same spot and have just completed the $200 Sail boat avaiable in the small boat store section. It is cartopable, easier with two lifting but I did load and unload with out hurting my wife,s Aspen. The pictures on this site posted by bill h are my maiden voyage.
