The Small Boat Forum Store page now features a Plan Packet for Dave Carnell's nifty fast sail/rowboat NUTMEG. First designed by Phil Bolger in the late '70's and modified by Dave to make the build-out as simple and streight forward as possible. In 1994 Dave simplified the construction process to another level allowing folks with limited carpentry skills to build a fun small boat for little money - with exceptionaly high recreation value.
If you purchase a Plan Packet - OR have already built NUTMEG - (over 600 plans sold - this is a proven design!) your invited to post your comments & experiences with building and sailing NUTMEG. Post a picture of your NUTMEG!

Greetings from a new member (in New Zealand).
Having shared the building and sailing of Bolger's 'Featherwind' over 25 years ago, I recently joined the Forum and sent for a set of 'Nutmeg' plans - the improved version of 'Featherwind'
I assume the US$25 I sent has been received but haven't heard anything from Thom V. Can anyone tell me if he is still active, or if the plans are still available?
Thanks.

| I also sent $25 to Thomas Vetromile on November 13th and I have not received my Nutmet packet and my check has not been cashed. I am eager to know if this information is still available. Joe Horvath

Greetings Joe,
Being in New Zealand I am a long way from Washington State to be trying to chase up the plans I sent for - or the US$25.00. There's probably a simple-enough explanation for the delay, but if you are able to make contact with Thom.V for your plans, I would be pleased if you would let me know by direct email. My email address is....arw@xnet.co.nz...
Thanks,
Andrew.

Hi Joe,
Just to follow my last post re Thom V. I phoned his number from New Zealand and was told by a phone robot that his number is no longer in service. In Washington White Pages Thom's no. is listed as (206)546-0857.
Regards,
Andrew.

Thanks Thomas,
I had hoped there was nothing serious in the delay, and hope you get settled quickly in your new home.
I look forward to receiving plans for Nutmeg.
Best wishes,
Andrew.
