Hello. I'm looking for boats for sale. I'm going to get a decent quality and priced boats. I have no clue what model and I don't want to be reap off. By the way, i'm new in this topic. I've found some adds at http://www.pennysaverusa.com/category/autos-boats-for-sale/region/w-us/
It looks alright, but I want ask you if you have any experience with this site. It is any good? Or should looking somewhere else.

The Penny Saver Site looks good to me .Thereare alot of things you must know before looking @ the boats .
If you are interested in purchasing a sail boat . You need to decide what type of sailboat you want . How big ? Do you want to trailer the sailboat or leave it at one site for use ? Will you be day sailing ? cruising ? solo sailing ? sailing with crew? Where will you be sailing ? lake ? ocean ? river ? The depth of the water & the type of water you sail, distances you ant to sail will determine the type & size of keel you need , boat ballast & type of sails . Multi hull sailboats are usually faster & more spacious than mono hull sailboats. What type of electronics do you need to do the type of sailing you want to do ? compass? gps?navigational lights ?inboard or outboard engine? Cabin space vs cockpit space ,sleeping quatrers ?, bathroom or porta potty ? galley for cooking ? How much money do you have to spend on the purchase ? new or used , maintenance $ ? storage $ ? How much time will you have to sail ? You really have to think about many of these things before purchasing .
My suggestion to you is to sail on as many sailboats you can before deciding what you will purchase ! I belong to a yacht club & we recommend all new members sail on other members boats for at least one year before purchasing to make sure they like sailing . I also recommend that you sail the boat before purchasing . If the cost of the sailboat represents a alot of money to you , have it surveyed by a marine surveyor !Insure it with Boat US.
I sail on a 19'Prindle Catamaran in the Summer & on a Flying Scott in the Winter on the Ocean in Brooklyn NY . My wife sailed with me for over 25 years & all my 4 kids sailed the catamaran with their friends when they were teenagers. Sailing was a solo & a family sport for us .
