I have a riveted 12' aluminum boat. There is no identification plate on it, that I can find. On the California title it is listed as a 1974 - builder "SPCNS". I checked the CA DMV website and could not find anything that gave the builder's names from title abbreviations.

It is a well made boat that is pretty stable, heavy duty, and does not leak. I am curious to know if the builder is still afloat (har, har har). And would like to learn more about its history.

Thanks in advance for assistance!
