I have a 1979 Four Winns Marquise 170 with a soft spongy floor in front of the engine well. The floor is filberglass over wood. The wood has rotted. To replace the wood under floor one will need to cut out the fiberglass. The fiberglass covering the wood is 1/8 inch thick. The boat is in good condition other than the area on the floor.
Would appreciate any and all advice or suggestions.
