| i bought a small boat with an eska 4.5 it is a 1975 model. i cleaned the carb out like new and cannot get the top (flywheel) off to clean it so i can get a spark out of it. do i need a puller for that or is there something else im missing? Last edited on Sun Jul 1st, 2007 11:08 pm by dagumol |

| have a manual for eska motors. do you still need info?

| thanks puma, actually i got one from e-bay but it does not specify as to "HOW" the flywheel comes off. it does not just pull off (I tried). i just don't know if i need a puller ans if so which one.

| I am looking at an Eska 9.9 Manual under "Flywheel Removal" it talks about a holding tool #670242 and a puller #670218. So, it looks to me that you need to use a puller.
