| I have a 72 Johnson 65hp. The water jacket (don't know the right name) on the side of the motor was squirting water at the bottom gasket .. There are 3 pieces to this & 3 gaskets. I took it off & there are no cracks. I want to get them checked so they're not warped.. In the event that the one closest to the motor (That's where the leak was), is warped & can't be planed, what is the proper name for these plates, where can I find them. & is there a torque number for these 19 bolts ?..

Going to take some hunting to find parts as they are no longer manufactured.

Thank you very much.. Don't know if there's anything wrong with mine. Will take it to the machine shop on Monday, & they can check it for straightness, & maybe plane it if it is warped.. Gaskets are available, so I ordered 3 of them..

| OK took my manifolds to a machine shop, they checked it for warping & Planed them ever so slightly, but said they were straight, new gaskets will be nstalled today, so it's good news..
