Edson I. Schock of Rhode Island showed this plan for a small sailing dory (Plan # 267) in the Sports Afield Boatbuilding Annual --1966 Edition (price: $.75…!). She was designed to be constructed plank on frame after a full lofting of the lines. She could be adopted to epoxy stitch and glue using plywood as the twist to the side planks is minimal with her wide garboard and broad transom. She should sail well as her bottom is narrow, and her midsection shape is as round as can be obtained for a short dory.

Small Sailing Dory Particulars:  LOA 13’, Beam 5’. Two Sail Plans: 78 sq. ft, and a Jib Headed Rig at 104 sq. ft.(shown). A Plan Booklet of the original article may be ordered from the Press at Toad Hall Design # 5805.
