What exactly is a Small Boat anyway? That’s a good question… At the turn of the 20th century a vessel was called a small boat IF it was just under a 100 feet! When vessels in the 30 foot range began to cross the Atlantic and other oceans (Slocom, etc.), the non-boating public was astounded and persuaded that going on the water in smaller vessels could be recreational. So here at the Small Boat Forum we will use anything up to the 30 foot range -- plus or minus -- as a Small Boat.
What is Mana?
Mana is a Pacific Island word meaning ‘respect’… The creators of this Board Script have placed a non-linear algorithm whereby a Registered User can bestow a token of esteem -- a Mana Jewel -- for a post well written or to a post that strikes you as informative i.e. -- you learned something. The idea of Mana is to raise the level of discourse…
